Holiday of Lights celebrations are kicking off early this year with some of our towns having holiday events in early November. Others are still keeping the December tradition and will have their main street lightings and parades in the first week or two of December. And there is still more to experience. Searcy, Arkansas starts their Holiday celebrations in November and continues with an event or experience almost every day in December. From painting an ornament to carriage rides, or a holiday movie at the Rialto Theatre. Plus a self guided tour through Pioneer Village as they deck out for the holidays.

If your up for a scenic drive through quaint small towns with the traditional old fashioned main street Holiday appeal be sure to visit downtown Heber Springs, or downtown Searcy to see the courthouse lightings and take a drive down main street. To add a little spice to your holiday experience in Heber Springs stop in at Jitterbug Cafe for a holiday cocoa or coffee.
